The first reason is to reduce the graph that there are more and more they are, the longer it will take all of your pages to download. People are impatient while waiting for the download sites – only about 5 seconds before your visitors click on the button.

What can you do? In addition to using fewer images you can also ensure that the size of your images in a graphics editor. This is actually their smaller file sizes. If you only resize images by specifying a width and height in HTML or CSS, they are always slow to load because the size of the file is used to complete.

You should consider turning the compression in your image editing program. JPEG files can often be compressed to 25% before a noticeable difference in quality. Try different formats and compression levels to see what works.

He is too busy

If you use a site with more than 4 images on the page at a time, your eyes are drawn across the page. You do not know where to concentrate because the page was easy to do too much.

Watch the front pages of newspapers, and remember how they take a picture. Insert 2 pictures is on a cover page as the poor: the reader does not know where to look.

This applies to sites where the display area is much smaller than a newspaper page to double. Even if you have more than 1, which have to say, it is preferable to “doing great” with a picture and then explain what in the text next to or below.

It directs the content

Users visit your site for information, not to see on your charts. Too many graphics on your salary or, worse still, force readers to distract them find you. If your graphics card in the way people have simply using your website a graphical overload. And it’s a bad thing.

What is the solution? Simply decide which of these graphics are really necessary. Remember, to see not just add graphics rather, each curve have a purpose.

One exception: Image Galleries

If the purpose of your site displaying photographs, it is clear that several pictures are appropriate. But not only to maintain several large-format photographs – provide thumbnails: small versions of each image. If you are interested, the visitor to zoom with one click.

This represents more photos on each page, and avoids waste of download time and user bandwidth.

Note that in all website design, images are strictly to support the content. Even if the contents graph.
